The services provided by Interface Wien are a promising field of intervention regarding health literacy among migrants in Vienna. Evaluation of a workplace health promotion programme at the MA 28 – Straßenverwaltung und Straßenbau
The Wiener Gesundheitsförderung supports the implementation of health promotion programmes in municipality departments and municipality-owned companies in Vienna. The municipality department MA 28 benefits from this service and runs a workplace health promotion programme. queraum supports the internal project team systematically during the implementation.

Evaluation of the project "Grow Together – Mentoring programme for kids with parents with mental health problems"
The project "Grow together", carried out by JoJo – Kindheit im Schatten, aims at families with a parent suffering from mental health problems. To give the children of these families the chance to grow up healthy and develop positively, they are supported by mentors. The evaluation's focus is on the process (process evaluation) as well as on the results and outcomes of the project (summative evaluation).

The Dachverband der Selbsthilfegruppen für Angehörige psychisch Erkrankter in Österreich (HPE Österreich) has developed the project VeRRückte Kindheit to support children of persons with mental health problems in their personal resources. queraum. cultural and social research is responsible for the process evaluation as well as the summative evaluation.

Empirical study: "Violence against persons with disabilities: Experiences and Prevention“
This is the first representative study of disabled persons' experiences of violence in Austria. The project coordination lies with the Institut für Rechts- und Kriminalsoziologie. The research results will contribute to violence prevention and the support of persons affected by violence. They will comprise examples of good-practice and they will support institutions that have to deal with violence issues.

Jugendgesundheitskonferenzen 2.0 and City Challenge ("Healthy Districts" programme)
The "Healthy Districts" programme, funded by the Wiener Gesundheitsförderung, consists of various modules. One of these modules is dedicated to health promotion activities for young people and is carried out by a consortium of queraum. cultural and social research and the women's health centre FEM. The module comprises two different project types: "Youth Health Conferences 2.0" and "City Challenges".

Rollout Jugendgesundheitskonferenz
The aim of the health promotion project "Rollout Jugendgesundheitskonferenz", which is initiated by the Wiener Gesundheitsförderung, is to enhance health literacy and wellbeing of socioeconomically deprived adolescents, aged between 12 and 19. The project is put into practice in twelve Viennese districts. Adolescents from schools and youth facilities will be invited to present their ideas concerning „adolescents' health“ at an event called „Conference for Adolescent Health“. queraum. kultur- und sozialforschung will implement the projects together with the Frauengesundheitszentrum FEM (women’s health center) and will support the youth facilities and schools in the development and presentation of their ideas at the event.

Inclusive Spaces
Social integration/inclusion remains one of the main challenges in schools. "Inclusive Spaces" tries to tackle this problem. The project tries to generate knowledge that contributes to foster social cohesion and "successful inclusion" in schools. Social space theory provides the framework for the research. EU project "Active 80+"
queraum. cultural- and social research is the European Coordinator of the Erasmus+ project "Active 80+". The Active 80+ project aims at developing and testing a training for staff and volunteers in the field of health and social care, enabling them to function as "coaches" for very old people.

EU project "New Paths to InclUsion Network"
The New Paths to InclUsion Network (2013–2015) builds on the legacy of the European project New Paths to Inclusion Network (2009–2011) which helped to advance Person Centred Planning and Practice in support services across Europe. This project brings together 20 organisations – organisations of persons with disabilities, service-providers, universities and research centres – from thirteen European countries and Canada whose common aim is to achieve change and support organisations to deliver community based and person-centred services for people with disabilities. queraum is responsible for the coordination of the project.
