Objectives
In Austria there are numerous institutions that provide practical prevention work for girls and boys. There was a lack of transparent scientifically developed quality criteria for gender-aware prevention. For this reason, the Österreichische Netzwerk zur Prävention von sexualisierter Gewalt gegen Kinder und Jugendliche developed quality standards for the gender-aware prevention of sexual violence against girls and boys. The standards are based on literature and participative research. The target groups were organisations of practical prevention, stakeholders and experts.
Implementation

The queraum team offered counseling in the field of social research to support the project team in planning the research, preparing the semi-structured interviews and developping the questionnaire. A ongoing exchange was provided in joint reflection meetings.
