Objectives
The aim of the project is to promote the psychosocial health of refugees over the age of 60. In terms of sustainability, the care teams in the selected facilities are sensitised to the needs of the target group and supported in implementing activities as closely as possible to the realities of the clients' lives and with the resources and possibilities available in the respective facilities. In order to sensitise other professionals and transfer the experiences from the project to other basic care facilities, the project team creates a toolbox and offers sensitisation workshops on the special needs of refugees aged 60+.
Umsetzung
The evaluation aims to assess the process quality as well as the impact of the participatory support measures developed for the psychosocial health promotion of older refugees in basic care. In addition to regular reflection meetings with the project team, queraum involves the direct target groups, older people and carers, in the evaluation using low-threshold methods (including participant observation including short interviews, online group interviews, short feedback questionnaires).
