Objectives
The project “Community Cooking" is an experimental cooking class that engages locals in cooking and eating together as well as in learning about healthy food. The project´s mission is to use cooking for the promotion of the intercultural dialogue and to strengthen social networks in urban environments.
Implementation of the evaluation
queraum. cultural and social research was commissioned to carry out an accompanying evaluation of the project. Based on the project's requirements, a combination of summative and formative evaluation was chosen.
To support the project team in planning and implementation as well as in monitoring and learning in the project, queraum chairs 'reflection groups' (e.g. start-up workshop to define objectives, evaluation workshops) and summarizes all results.
In the course of the project, queraum will carry out several questionings to collect feedback of the target groups, multipliers and relevant stakeholders (e.g. group discussions with tutors and volunteers, survey among participants, interviews with relevant stakeholders).
